How To: Color Block

Color blocking is combining different colors that support each other when paired together. This trend is becoming more and more popular and is something that can be either a hit or miss. While color blocking breaks all the "traditional" rules of fashion, there are still some rules that should be followed for color blocking in order for your outfit to be put together correctly.

I'm sure that most of you have heard of TOMS shoes, but if you haven't, basically it is a shoe company that was founded in 2006 by Blake Mycoskie that with every pair of shoe purchased will donate one pair of shoes to a child in need.

I was shopping around online lately and went to OPI.com when I saw that they were coming out with a collection with Nicki Minaj. This collection will be coming out in January of 2012. It has a total of 6 shades, 2 of the 6 shades are glitter polishes, 3 are regular nail lacquers, and 1 is a shatter polish. I really like Nicki Minaj, so I will definitely be buying some of these polishes when they hit stores. 

Nail Of The Day 12/10/11: Holiday French Manicure + Mini Tutorial

Today's Nail Of The Day is a holiday inspired manicure. It is red tips over top of a white base. I think this look is really pretty for the holidays and it is super easy, so anyone can do it.

Glitter Nail Polish (optional)
