School Bag Essentials

Whether you prefer a backpack or purse, your school bag should contain the right things. You always want to be prepared, but at the same time, you don't want to be hauling around a 15 pound bag! To prevent over-packing, only bring the things you will actually use.

Everyday my school bag contains the following essentials: Lip gloss, translucent powder, body or hand lotion, oil blotting sheets, mascara, hand sanitizer, concealer, eyeliner, deodorant, and a mini mirror, which is all kept inside a makeup bag. I also have a second makeup bag which contains perfume, tissues, a small brush, hairspray, bobbi pins, tampons, and dry shampoo. I also carry a water bottle, mints, gum, my keys, my phone, money, a small umbrella, an agenda, pens and pencils (in a pencil pouch) and of course, all my books.
The makeup bags I use usually are lined on the inside with plastic, so if something spills, breaks, or leaks inside it is easy to clean. And as for things like the dry shampoo, hand sanitizer, hairspray, deodorant, lotion, and tissues, all of these things are made in travel size containers, which takes up a lot less space. The perfume is a tricky thing to carry with you because the bottles are usually pretty large and breakable, so if your favorite perfume doesn't already come in a roller ball bottle, you can just buy them empty and fill it with any perfume! I also keep my tampons in this tampon holder from glitzy glam. It is prefect because even if your bag spills, nobody will know what it is!
This was just what I carry in my school bag, but if you know you will not use any of these items, or you would use something else that isn't listed here, then you can tweak this list to fit your personal needs. This was just to give you an idea of what you should carry around with you! Hope this helped! (:
